Steven McQueen turns Melificent into a raging cougar. Sure, he is 22 years old – not that much younger than me (let’s not age me now), but I still can’t help feeling like a bit of a dirty old woman…especially when we were only a few inches away from each other at Comic-Con a couple of weeks ago. And in case you were wondering, he is related to the “King of Cool,” Steven McQueen, of Bullitt, The Great Escape and the Getaway fame, just to name a few. I’m sure that’s saved him from a few speeding tickets, huh?
Now he’s starring as the emotionally tortured Jeremy Gilbert on The Vampire Diaries (most favorite guilty pleasure ever) and will also be in the ridiculously hilarious (is it supposed to be?) Piranha 3D. So I have a feeling that we’ll be seeing him more often in the future. I know I wouldn’t mind it at all ![]()

I can’t possibly wrap up 6 years of awesome in one blog post, so I will try my absolute best. I’ve already made it clear on this blog before how much this show has meant to me. I have been there from the very beginning – attending the first ever LOST panel at Comic Con 2004 where they screened the entire pilot months before it aired – until the very end. I have grown so attached to these characters that they feel like my friends; my family. I genuinely care about them and their hardships and victories. So knowing that Sunday was the series finale had my stomach in knots the entire day. I didn’t want to say goodbye to my buddies.
