A little late getting to this entry, but I have to say that all the things you particularly liked were my fave parts as well. My best friend actually hated how they did Alice's vision of Edward & Bella after Bella is turned...I thought it was breathtaking.

I also loathed how Jane said "Pain" when using her power.

I didn't like the scene when Bella, Jacob & Mike went to the movies & I felt the lead up to Jacob's "change" was pretty underwhelming. Patrick hasn't read the books, but saw Twilight & he was really perplexed by New Moon. While it was so easy for us Twihards to understand, it's a shame that people that didn't read the books are left a bit in the dark.

I was planning on doing a little Twilight bashing on here (I've read the books, so I can! lol), but after reading your next post, I can see you're probably not up for it. With that said, I'm going to miss your blogging while you're away. Hope you find the peace you're looking for (sooner than later!).

Good things come to those who wait. Better things come to those who try. And the best things come to those who BELIEVE! Keep hope alive!

I didn't reread New Moon like I had originally planed before seeing the film so I had forgot all about how the book opened. And I was pleasantly surprised when I immediately recognized what was going on in the beginning.

I have to say with Jane I was hoping for a bit more snark. In the book she got really irritated and mad that Bella felt nothing of her power. I guess I wanted to see more hate from her toward Bella. But man the scene with the tourists being led in, and the kids too! GAH!

Great movie!
