I’m going to forgo my typical list format today, because nothing is more magical (to me) than a Bush show. And that’s how I spent my Cinco de Mayo, so you get an entire post about it! I know you’re excited. If you are not, feel free to mosey along.

I had a great time at Fashion Bloggers Night Out hosted by Annie Vazquez (The Fashion Poet) at Neiman Marcus last week. It was my first time attending an event like this and even though it was a bit intimidating (there are so many fashion bloggers in South Florida!), it was great to listen to the panel’s blogging advice and to see some familiar faces. I especially loved the fashion show, where I instantly fell in love with this year’s it color: orange.
I’m now pretty sure I need a pair of bright orange pants (Tobi has some great ones) to pair with some nice breezy blouses for summer! I’m also loving all the patterns, and of course, color everywhere. I hope it stays.
William Levy is so hot right now. He’s kind of like Hansel. Only I don’t know if this phenomenon is sweeping the country. Is it? I know he is super popular down in South Florida because of his Cuban-American roots, which instantly makes him a fan favorite. He was also featured on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Miami, where he was posing for Alexia’s magazine, Venue. But now I hear he is on a little show called Dancing with the Stars, am I right? Well, apparently he has cha-cha’ed his way into everyone’s heart because he was a reader suggestion for this week’s hump day. And I always aim to please.

Let me begin. I’m a huge Hunger Games fan. I am so in love with this fandom and their passion. I was planning on attending the Hunger Games mall event yesterday in Westfield Broward as just that…a fan. I did not expect to be picking up a press badge, but it was a pleasant surprise. I loved being able to watch the fans in action from our riser. It was honestly my favorite part. So many 3-fingered salutes, smiles and squeals. It was infectious.

After visiting The Limited last week, I was impressed with the versatility of their collections. Some of my favorites were, of course, their beautiful pop pieces (like the skirt I featured earlier this week), as well as their travel suits that can be thrown into the washer and dryer (heaven sent). Finally, I really adored their reboot of the Outback Red collection (last available in the 80’s), which focuses on those of us bitten by the wanderlust bug. It recently features trends inspired by travel to Havana, Cuba, which I love!
In other words, I don’t think any of you will have a very difficult time spending this great gift card.
