Happy Hump Day: Colin O’Donoghue

As mentioned earlier, I got suckered into Once Upon A Time, and now that Fringe is over with, I find myself needing to fill that void with a new favorite show. And OUAT won out! Although I focused mainly on the female characters’ ridiculously adorable wardrobe during my last post, this time around I’m going to give the major man candy some attention. Seriously, this show has no shortage, which I always appreciate. However, the one that really stood out for me was Colin O’Donoghue, who plays Captain Hook. Between the scruff, guy liner and accent, I was clearly done for. And I just found out he’s a musician. Seriously, his wife is one lucky lady. Did I mention that his fans refer to themselves as hookers? Everything about this dude is amaze.

Style Crush: Mary Margaret from Once Upon A Time

While feeling sick over the new years festivities, I decided to take the opportunity to catch up on TV. One of those shows was Once Upon A Time, which was recommended to me by almost all my friends. Of course, they know me well because I loved it! Not only does it feed my love of fantasy and fairy tales, but it is from the creators of my most favorite show ever in the universe, Lost. So it’s a win/win. Then throw in Ginnifer Goodwin‘s adorable wardrobe as Mary Margaret (aka; Snow White) and I’m dead.

Seriously, how cute are her outfits??

She always looks adorably geek chic, and that pixie cut she is rocking is just too much.

That’s why I got inspired to put together my own style boards featuring outfits Mary Margaret herself would be proud to parade around in while hanging in Storybrooke, Maine.

Deck the Halls

I was so relieved to take a break from studying to be able to spend some quality time with the hubs & decorate our house for Christmas this past weekend! I feel like people jumped on the Christmas train way earlier this year – there were houses in my neighborhood decked out for the holidays well before Thanksgiving! What gives? I personally like to take holidays one at a time. What’s the rush, people?!

Have I mentioned how much I love having a faux tree? SO easy and low maintenance! The only thing I do miss is that delicious pine smell that no longer permeates my home. However, that’s nothing a little holiday Febreeze can’t take care of! ;)

Ps; although I find myself unable to sleep as soundly as I used to at night, I’m kind of in love with American Horror Story. I’m pretty sure Zachary Quinto is to blame (ohmyhawt).

Happy Hump Day: Stephen Amell

I asked you all to chime in on who you wanted featured on this week’s hump day post, and it was pretty unanimous: you all wanted a girl! I’m completely ready to feature a female hottie, but after watching the pilot episode for Arrow, I just couldn’t let another week go by without featuring the beautiful creature that is Stephen Amell. He is just that ridiculously good looking (and my memory is that ridiculously bad). So I have not forsaken you, a sexy lady is coming next week so sit back and enjoy this lovely piece of man meat. It’s a good one.

Happy Hump Day: Michael Trucco

Never thought I would be saying this, but I love Battlestar Galactica. I actually cannot wait to start eating my way through the final two seasons now that I no longer have to spend every waking hour studying for my exam. It’s everything good about TV and storytelling and…it also has a lot of eye candy. Namely, Michael Trucco. He’s pretty.

For more Battlestar yumminess, check out my previous post on James Callis here.

Happy Hump Day: Ian Harding

Every Tuesday night I find myself in front of the television catching “Pretty Little Liars”. While the show’s dramatic storyline and killer fashions do keep me interested, Ian Harding just makes it all better with his representation of brooding teacher Mr. Ezra Fitz, who’s in a relationship with edgy fashionista Aria. Need to catch them in action? Check out episodes online in the ABC Family website. You’re welcome!

Lovable Friday!

1. Girls

I am very late to this pop culture train, but the hubs and I are certifiably obsessed with HBO’s Girls. The best way to describe it is a hipster/quirky version of Sex and the City. The writing is genius and I absolutely have grown attached to all the characters. I see a little piece of myself in each one of them, and I think the topics they touch on are spot on for our generation. Basically, the exact qualities that made SATC the mega hit it became. Definitely check it out!

Happy Hump Day: Neil Patrick Harris

Although How I Met Your Mother has gone the way of the dodo (did I really just use that phrase???), I think all of us can agree that the only remaining positive is Neil Patrick Harris and his character, Barney Stinson. It’s impossible not to fall in love with the sensitive, yet douche-tastic Barney and his fantastic one-liners. It helps that NPH is just a generally awesome person with some serious abs. Win/win.

Happy Hump Day: Milo Ventimiglia

Back in the day when Heroes was amazing, Milo was on my DVR nonstop. The hubs and I were late on the bandwagon, but instantly fell in love when it was on Netflix instant. We were so hooked, in fact, that we spent some sleepless nights trying to catch up (refer to this similar situation). Believe it or not, I wasn’t too into Milo (the Quints had all my attention), until I met him at Comic Con in 2010. Wowza. He’s nice to look at. Just sayin’.

Have fun doing just that below!

Happy Hump Day {Role Reversal}: Anna Torv

The hubs and I have been Fringe addicts since day one. But I do clearly remember our friends complaining at first that they didn’t dig the main character, Olivia Dunham. They would say that her acting was weak and they didn’t like her cadence. I also clearly remember correcting all of them as quickly as possible: she’s Australian! I guess I instantly had a girl crush on Ms. Torv. I attribute it to her strong, bad ass persona. This only escalated when I had a run in with her at Comic Con. Please ask me where. Only the worst place for a celebrity run in: the women’s bathroom. These things only happen to me.
