So I may be a little behind the times here, but I just discovered the greatness that is Loot Crate! It is a monthly subscription service, much like BirchBox or Julep, but just targeted at the geeky community. Score, right?? The box comes stocked with a bunch of goodies, ranging from figures to key chains to tees all corresponding to that month’s theme! This month’s theme is ADVENTURE and it was my first Loot Crate experience.
Our first set of loot was in the form of stickers and temporary tattoos. I have to say, these were a little disappointing. I don’t necessarily want stickers, especially for something I can’t recognize. Does this make me less geeky? I’ll be putting these in the stack of giveaway goodies for The Fangirl Diaries‘ 200th Facebook fan. Have you added us yet?
The Friend Zone OST. I am also not familiar with Friend Zone, but I’m always open to listening to new music, so I’ll probably pop this in while driving at some point. Hoping to hear some groovy tunes.

A Minecraft pick axe key chain. So fun! I absolutely love this.
A bottle opening key chain with our friend Link warning us all, “It’s dangerous to go alone! Take this!” Absolutely adorable. I’m actually going to gift this to my best friend and the other half of The Fangirl Diaries, Elsie. She’s a huge Zelda fan.
My absolute favorite loot from this month: an Adventure Time tin that held a mini figure. I got Fiona! Isn’t she the cutest??? I think she’ll be finding a new home on my car’s dash very soon!
The final item: a pretty sweet Link tee! This one is for the hubs (I have entirely too many fandom tees) and he looks mighty smashing in it, I must say.

Overall, I’m excited even though not everything spoke to my interests. We signed up for a 3-month subscription, so I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us next!
