I was brainstorming for a Friday blog post topic, when I realized how much I love Friday’s: the end of the work week, the beginning of the weekend. The feeling of relief when you wake up in the morning and realize Saturday & Sunday are upon you and the fun is just about to begin. Because of all these great feelings associated with Friday’s, I figured my blog post had to be just as lovable, exciting and fun. And then it came to me.

Lovable Friday! Why not make a post every Friday dedicated to the things I love that particular week. From people to accessories to blog posts to movies to albums. Things that would help the weekend start right: with a smile.

Let’s begin!

If you know me, you know I have an unhealthy obsession|fangirl crush with|Heroes’ Sylar (aka: Zachary Quinto). He’s just so so pretty in a I’ll-slice-your-brains kind of way. What can I say? I’m a sucker for tall nerdy boys. Anywho, I had been waiting for this spoilerific photo to become a reality in Volume 4 and it did (!!!) on Monday night. I hope it’s not the last of Sylar in uniform b/c it’s hot. Melificent approves. If you are out there Zach, call me.

I stumbled upon these gorgeous signature vases on Oh Joy!, one of my favorite blogs, and I instantly fell in love. They are so elegantly simple and beautiful. I’m really big on modern & minimalistic floral pieces so this is right up my alley. This would look great as an accent to a sign-in table at a wedding or shower or just as a centerpiece for your dining room table. You can thank designer Frank Tjepkema for this amazing work of art.

While exercising some serious retail therapy Thursday afternoon, I found these amazing tops at Forever 21 for only $7.50. That’s right. These sexy satin tops were only $7.50 each, so naturally I bought 3 of them in the colors above: slate gray, hot pink and aqua. If there are two style trends at the moment that I cannot live without, they would be high-neck tops and high-waisted skirts so I was one happy camper. If you are nearby a Forever 21 sometime soon, swing by and pick yourself up a few too!

The “I Love You More Than Blank” website is one of the most adorable ideas in history. Basically, you submit the ending to the phrase “I love you more than…” and it is featured on their website. I made my submission at the beginning of last month and desperately tried to find it to no avail because of the multitude of entries since then! Their goal is to eventually publish a book with everyone’s submissions. Pretty amazing & pretty great to read through. Some are hysterical, while others are pretty heartfelt & touching. I’m sure if you ever stumbled on mine, you would know it was me. Hint: it has something to do with the #1 on this list. Heh.

I’ve been reading the last book of the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn, all throughout this week and although I’m kind of annoyed by still being stuck in the Jacob book (his story is hard to follow and honestly not interesting), I absolutely love my Twilight. It’s definitely been filling the void since the Potter series came to an end. I’m kind of embarrassed to say that I am completely in love with Edward Cullen and I think my husband may be jealous.
