The day has finally arrived! Tomorrow morning I’ll be en route to San Diego to attend Comic-Con 2009! I couldn’t be more excited and I really will try my best to blog if possible (don’t know if I have wifi at the hotel or if I’ll have the time!). One thing you can count on is my Twitter. I’ll be live tweeting as much of the event as possible so you’ll want to be keeping an eye on it throughout the rest of the week.

Edit: As of this morning, I have been asked to help contribute to DarkUFO‘s live coverage of Comic-Con! I will be live tweeting from their twitter account throughout the 4 days, so you can check ComicConLive for my reports as well. I will still be posting from my personal account though so make sure you have both added! Thanks for the opportunity, Mr. ODI!

Summit Entertainment’s New Moon Panel
2:15-3:15pm

This one depends on what time we are able to get to the Convention Center as our plane lands at 11am and I’m sure it’ll take us awhile to pick up our rental car, check in to the hotel and make our way over to the center. I’ve heard crazy Twi-hards have been sleeping on the premises since yesterday – so I’m not sure if I’ll make it in and also not so sure if I will want to endure the torture that is screaming, hysterical tweens.

Showtime: Dexter Panel
5pm-6pm

I will most definitely be here! Love Dexter and can’t wait to see what they have in store for us! Hoping for a Season 4 sneak peek!

Dr. Horrible’s Sing-along Blog
8pm-10pm

It took me entirely too long to watch this, despite countless friends’ recommendations, but I am so glad I finally did! I’m a huge fan of the NPH and this only made my love swell! If you like musicals and Joss Whedon, please check it out! You can find it on Hulu. I thought NPH would be there himself, but seems like it was just wishful thinking. Although (from experience), you never know who may show up where at Comic-Con!

FlashForward Panel
11:45am – 12:45pm

I’m really intrigued about this new ABC show – the promo’s have been pretty vague but at the same time manage to suck you in! Plus I have heard some rumors that Dominic Monaghan will be starring in this new series, so I’m hoping he may be the surprise guest “that you won’t want to miss.”

Big Bang Theory
1pm – 2pm

I absolutely adore this show. It never fails to make me laugh. So I am beyond stoked that they will be holding their own panel! It should be a blast.

Focus Features: 9
2:30pm-3:30pm

I am *so* thrilled that Elijah Wood is going to be at the Con!!! I have been such a huge fan since I was a little tyke – I am so excited that I will finally get to see (meet?) him! And as if it couldn’t get any better, Tim Burton will be joining him!! So happy I could shit. Seriously. Definitely the highlight of the Friday schedule for me!

District 9 Panel
3:45pm – 5pm

This movie looks completely bad ass! And although Peter Jackson did not direct it, it’s nice to see him back in action presenting such an amazing film. If you have not seen the trailer, check it out here!

Lost: The Final Season Begins
11am – 12pm

By far the panel that I am most looking forward to the entire 4 days. I was lucky enough to be present for the 1st ever LOST panel and am completely floored that I will be able to partake in the last ever LOST panel. It doesn’t get any better for a hardcore fan like myself. Even better? This panel is promising a lot of audience participation and involvement – should be ridiculously fun!

Glee Panel
1:30pm – 3pm

I fell in love with this show (along with the rest of the country apparently) during the sneak peek in May. I’m a sucker for musicals and kind of wacky humor so this was right up my alley. I am so happy they decided to hold a panel and be so generous as to screen the next episode! Major plus points for already being in the room that will hold my next panel…

Heroes Panel
3:15pm – 4:15pm

I don’t need to explain or express my fandom for Heroes. You have all heard quite enough of it on this blog. And I don’t have to tell you about my love affair with Mr. Quinto either. So I am twitching with anticipation for this panel. I cannot wait to see a trailer for the new season, which I have complete faith in! My only gripe? Why only 4 cast members? C’mon Heroes, come out of the woodwork! I’m looking at you, Grunberg!

True Blood Panel
5:15pm – 6:15pm

Squee! My newest obsession, True Blood, should be one hell of a panel! Seems like the entire cast will be present, except for Mr. Jason Stackhouse and his abs (what a pity) since he’ll be in Australia filming a movie. Sacrilege. I plan on wearing my Merlotte’s tee and being ridiculous fangirl-y. Please feel free to join.

I will unfortunately be missing both the Fringe & Archaia panels due to schedule conflicts on Saturday, which make me pretty bummed. Why can’t I be two places at once? I need a time-turner stat!

I won’t be attending any panels on Sunday because I plan on nursing my definitive hangover with lots and lots of shopping on the exhibition floor. I hope I’ll be able to sneak some in the rest of the days, but I’m sure Sunday will be the day that I do the majority of my heavy duty shopping.
