Lovable Friday: Halloween Edition

lovablefriday1

I hope everyone has a fantastic Halloween weekend! I, for one, cannot contain my excitement. My costume is ready to go and I’ll be back Monday morning with a kick ass round up of our festivities. Have a great time everyone, but remember to be safe. I’ve put together some fun Halloween-themed items to share with you all!

1. Glittery Spiderweb Placemats

For all of you who are planning to have a Halloween dinner party sometime this weekend, these adorable DIY placemats would definitely make a statement! One of my favorite designers, Eddie Ross, featured these cuties along with instructions on how to make your own on his blog. So strap on your craft hat and get to work, procrastinators! ;)

2. Glitter Skull

To keep with the theme, here’s some more glittery goodness! Z Gallerie has some great Halloween accessories now on sale since the holiday is right around the corner. So you can stock up on these cuties for next year! Although I have to admit, I saw quite a few similar skulls at Target that were more affordable. Just sayin’.

3. You Have My Heart

Gotta love the creepy yet romantic feel of this necklace from Etsy seller, Walkonthemoon. Definitely fits the holiday mood and brings new meaning to the phrase, you have my heart. Pick one up for the person that owns yours.

4. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

One of my good friends, Camero, has a delicious foodie blog where she shares her excellent recipes. This week, she made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and as yummy as they looked on the screen, I can tell you that they tasted even better in my mouth! She was sweet enough to gift my hubs (and myself) with a batch for his birthday. They would be the perfect treat for your Halloween festivities if you aren’t into candy (like me). You rule, Camero!

5. Black Vodka
5. Black Vodka

Maybe I’m late to the game, but I had no idea that there was such a thing as black vodka! The vodka in question is Blavod Vodka and the bottles are generally $20. Add some of this black goodness into your usual martini recipes and you have one spooky, yet delicious, cocktail that would really impress your party guests. If you want to recreate the martini above, check out the recipe here. Can’t wait for an upcoming event so I can take this baby for a test drive!
