I had a pretty rough week, so I welcomed Friday night with open arms. Thankfully, we had some pretty great plans. We met up with some of our friends at Trattoria Sole in South Miami for some good eats and equally tasty drinks. I decided to be adventurous and ordered the grilled octopus, which was possibly the best thing I’ve ever had at Sole. Yummy tentacles!
We had a pretty busy Saturday which had us driving all around the Doral area searching for tile so it kind of worked out perfectly that we were rewarded with our good friend, Lori’s, birthday party that night! The Winter Music Conference attempted to ruin our evening, but in the end, we prevailed! We had a great time dancing at Buck 15 (how can anyone not?) and ended the night in the best way possible: Cuban food at 3am!
Sunday was spent in our new house, which has pretty much been the staple since we closed. We just can’t get enough of the place! We decided since the house had been cleaned up now that the popcorn was removed and the ceiling painted, we should take the dogs to introduce them to their new home. They absolutely loved it! They ran around the patio, sniffed every square inch of the place and even left a little squishy surprise on the premises
