My hubs introduced me to the greatness that is A Bryan Photo. They are lifestyle and wedding photographers that shoot soley in film for photos and super-8 for video. And they are glorious. Forget reality TV, I am obsessed with SPtv. What is SPtv you ask? The Smashing Pumpkins, being the awesome band they are, decided to broadcast themselves before shows live and include a chat box allowing us fans to interact with the members of the group at real time (unless Corgan gets his panties in a wad and decides to cut it short a-la ukulele incident). I think this is such an amazing concept and really a treat for us die hard fans. I am addicted to watching their live feed and am pretty sure I watch it with a big, goofy grin on my face. Billy Corgan, I love you so much, it’s disgusting.

I can’t wait to see them in a little over a week up in Ft. Lauderdale – I plan on getting there bright and early so I can be one of the first 20 in line. What’s so important about being the first 20? You get into their soundcheck where they will be playing brand new-not released-tracks. Hell yeah!

As a Harry Potter fan, this was one of my most highly anticipated summer trailers. I was hoping to see it on the big screen during both screenings of Eclipse that I saw, but unfortunately, neither of them aired it (grumble). So I had to settle to rushing home after our advanced screening to watch it on Muggle Net. Needless to say, I completely forgot all about Twilight and that nonsense instantly. This is one epic trailer. The end. I can’t believe it nor do I want it to end. I dare you to go through this trailer without tearing up or getting full on goosebumps (like I did), at least if you are a fan. The wide lens shot of Voldemort & Harry battling it out in the courtyard? Holy hell. This movie is going to wreck me if it was anything like reading the book, which took me about a day and a half to finish and ran me completely dry of tears. God help us Potter heads! We are in for a doozy.

Set phasers to fabulous: Zachary Quinto will be at Comic-Con this year promoting his comic book, Lucid. Last year I was able to attend his tiny Archaia panel, which was wonderful and terrible at the same time (mainly terrible due to an excessive amount of fangirls…well, fangirling). I can’t wait to do it this year all over again, except this time with press. Ah Zach, imaginary boyfriend, you are mine this year. Just don’t think poorly of me when I throw a potato sack over your head and attempt to kidnap you a-la Borat. Just sayin’. For all those interested, his Lucid panel is on Friday, July 23 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Although the new Bush single, Afterlife, is swimming through the air waves, I can’t help but be slightly obsessed with Apocalyptica’s End of Me with Gavin Rossdale on vocals. I love everything about it and they just released their video for the track last Friday, which only made me love it more. And there is plenty of Rossdale eye candy so you know I won’t complain.
