Lovable Friday!

1. Fox Scarf

Finally you can wear an animal around your neck and not get any slack from PETA! This perfectly kitschy knit scarf by Donna Wilson is too cute for words! In fact, I think I would find it too cute to wear. I would probably sit it on my couch, pretend it was my pet, feed it imaginary cupcakes and reminisce about one of my favorite childhood cartoons, David the Gnome.

2. Dual USB & Power Socket

Only something a true tech geek (like myself) would love: a dual USB and power socket. Charge your laptop and your iPhone at once or just use it as another USB port when your laptop is already jammed with other techy geeky toys. You know you’ve been there – don’t lie. This “gadget” even makes your wallet happy: it’s currently on sale for $20!

3. Creepy Craigslist Ads Turned Cute

It’s OK, you can admit it. You know you peruse Craigslist looking for those creepy ads. You know, the ones that reach out to those with whom the “lister” feels were a missed connection. Well, illustrator, Sophie Blackall, must have been guilty of the same past-time, except she decided to take something that bordered on disturbing and make it adorable by illustrating some of her favorite ads. I love the “new look” the fancy toll collector is sporting in the print above!

4. Apple Ring Box

I love unique and special proposals. Who wants to be asked to marry the one they love in a traditional, run-of-the-mill way? I know I didn’t. I am lucky to be married to a very creative individual so he popped the question by making me a scrapbook of our relationship with those 4 very important words on the last page. However, something leads me to believe that I would have squee’d even louder if he had presented the ring in a box just like this one! How cute is this? I think it would be especially adorable if your lady love is a teacher!

5. Gwen's Post-Show Pizza Craving

I love this woman. And lately, I have loved her even more (possible???) as she has finally gotten the hang of Twitter from her blackcrackberry and has been sharing frequent photos with all her fans. We were able to see her fashion week play-by-play: from casting models to stressful tailoring to…post-show food cravings. Apparently she had a hankering for pizza after her successful L.A.M.B. runway show tonight and these photos were the result (one to the left being I NEED PIZZA face)! Here photos always make me smile – how fun is she?

Honorable mention:

I don’t tend to do this , but I can’t help myself. One of my favorite bands, Bush, just posted the first picture of them as a ass-kickin’ unit rocking out during their rehearsals! It made my heart flutter and my palms sweat. Seriously guys, I am so excited to see them next week at Epicenter. I think I may suffer heart failure or just start flapping my arms around like some sort of cracked out Kermit the Frog. God help me.

Finally, if anyone is interested, I am looking to possibly have a guest blogger while I am in LA. If this sounds like something you’d like to do, please let me know in the comments or via email.

I hope everyone has a great weekend – see ya on Monday!
