Lovable Friday!

Happy April Fools Day!
Hope you haven’t gotten pranked on too many times, my loves!

1. Comic Headband

Calling all nerds, I have found your staple headpiece! How cute is this comic book headband? I personally think it’s the perfect accessory for all those Comic Con attendees. And if I play my cards right, I just might be one of those lucky geeks in attendance this year (again)! If so, I’ll be grabbing myself one or two for the road. ;)

2. Pastel Scalloped Dress

This dress just incorporates everything joyful in my fashion world: light pastels and scallops all rolled into a shift dress. And it’s by a British designer. How sweet is that? Unfortunately, it is out of my current budget, so I will just admire from afar (I feel like I write that entirely too often on these posts). Something tells me I need a Pinterest sugar daddy. Anyone willing to fill in those shoes?

3. Colorful Wooden Doormat

Always one to take on a DIY challenge, this Martha Stewart project made my heart flutter, but my hands sweat. I doubt I’d be able to put one together that looks half decent, but I could always recruit the hubs and one crafty friend in particular (she made me a bench for outside my home). What I especially love is the slight retweaking by painting the wooden panels in rainbow colors. I don’t know about you, but I would love to wipe my dirty sneaks on something this festive!

4. Cake Bunting

I can’t get enough of bunting. If I could, I’d probably string bunting in my car, on my dogs and across my bed. Seriously. It’s just so bright, beautiful and cheerful. And who doesn’t need all of that in their life on an every day basis? That’s why I was immediately drawn to this adorable bite-sized cake bunting. So much so that I ran to the craft store to stock up on felt, sticks and string. That itty bitty burst of happy is going to be on my birthday cake this year, god dammit. ;)

5. Shabby Apple Swim

Oh lovely readers, I thought it was appropriate for me to share the news with all of you first: I’m in love.

With this swimsuit. Actually, with the entire line of swimwear now available at The Shabby Apple. I’ve been obsessed with this site for awhile now with their sweet little vintage numbers, but unfortunately have never bought anything from there yet. However, I have a feeling this will be my first purchase. The colors, the feel: pure perfection. Birthday bikini? Possibly!
