Lovable Friday!

1. Asos Clutch

I am absolutely in love with this color for summer. That gorgeous turquoise green just reminds me of the beach, namely my most favorite place on Earth: the Florida Keys. This portfolio-style clutch from Asos would just cheer up any outfit, hell it would cheer me up everytime I looked at it! Unfortunately, it comes with a hefty price tag, but comfort yourself in knowing that Asos does not charge any shipping rates! Hey, as a shopaholic you always have to find the silver linings!

2. Girly rainbow drink

I’m pretty sure I’ve never squealed when handed a drink, but if this was in my hand, the temptation to do just that would be hard to resist. I found this image via The Glitter Guide, which I have to say is my new obsession. Girly, glittery, bright things? Please sign me up. If you are out there, Glitter Guide, I want to be a Glitter Girl when I grow up! Anywho, I couldn’t find the original source of the image so I don’t even know what is in this drink, but I think we are all industrious enough to figure out some amazing concoction that would create this electric pink hue and pair the rim with colorful sprinkles, right? RIGHT.

3. Bitchin' nails

Another fun manicure made it to Lovable Friday this week! I am absolutely in love with this trend, although like I said before, don’t think I will be very successful at replicating any of the styles I adore. However, this one in particular really speaks to me. It’s like a sweet girly punk rock look – right up my alley. It looks a little easier than some others I have drooled over, so who knows! Another project to jot down for the month of July ;)

4. DIY Pottery Barn style pillows

Oh Pottery Barn, your styling is so lustful, but often out of reach financially. Stress no more, DIY is here to save the day! The original adorable shabby chic pillows go for $39 each, while this friendly budget version via Cupkateer will only set you back $5! Granted, you need to know how to use a sewing machine (damn, that lack of know-how keeps taunting me) as well as some free time, but isn’t it more satisfying when you sit back and admire something you made yourself? I know it’s kind of an adrenaline rush for me (and I’m not even all that talented at DIY projects).

5. Chevron Salad Plates

Stripes, stripes, stripes. It’s all I can think about this summer. I’ve always loved the pattern, but they really seem to be everywhere this season. From fashion to accessories to kitchenware, as is seen with these flat out adorable Chevron salad plates! I already picked up a colorfully striped tablecloth for my outdoor terrace, so I’m pretty sure adding these plates would clash, but I’m going to shrug this one off. They are just too cute to pass up, especially for your next pool party or BBQ!

Turquoise is one of my favorite colors for summer. It looks great with so many other colors: red, white, yellow, other blue shades… gorgeous!!
