Lovable Friday!

1. Cambridge Satchel Co

Words cannot express how much I love these satchels. If money was not a concern, I’m pretty sure I would have one in every color (especially those festive neon colors). I’d love to splurge and pick one up for our upcoming Euro trip, but looks like I’ll have to settle to just admire (aka; drool) from afar. Which one would be my pick? The lovely classic in this vibrant kelly green.

2. Oh Shiz Towel

I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sure I utter these words every Sunday night. I love the sentiment emblazoned on a beach towel even more so. What says rest and relaxation more than laying on a towel on the warm sand, enjoying a piña colada? Definitely not a moment you want to think of what Monday has in store for you. Unfortunately, it seems this hysterical Scotch and Soda beach towel is no longer available, but you can snatch up one mocking beards (definitely not something I would do) for a ridiculously expensive price tag instead.

3. Pumpkin Smoothie

Welcome to fall! Well, for the majority of you all. Here in Miami we do not have the slightest idea of what seasons are, aside from hot and effing hot. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t share in some fall trends, such as pumpkin-everything. I adore this time of the year, mainly because some of my favorite flavors are splattered all over local stores, and pumpkin is number one! That’s why I swooned when I saw this terrific recipe for a pumpkin smoothie. Now that’s the way I want to start my morning – sorry, Starbucks.

4. House of Harlow shades

So fashion confession: I never buy expensive sunglasses. All of mine come from Target, Forever 21, etc. Reason being, I always seem to lose them, break them, make them spontaneously combust…you get the picture. So to me a pair of expensive shades just doesn’t make sense…until I saw these cuties from Ms. Nicole Ritchie’s House of Harlow. Maybe I’ll have to make an exception to that rule of mine…

5. DIY Chevron Necklace

I bow down to the house of chevron, it’s true. So this little DIY project consisting of sheet metal and your favorite nail polish (!) made a big smile spread across my face! Isn’t it lovely? I personally have never tried making my own jewelry – well, aside from friendship bracelets – but this sparked my interest!

Hey! Thanks for sharing my DIY project. It’s easy to do, but if you want to keep it super simple you could just paint an old or thrifted piece of jewelry, too.

That is a great idea and definitely a good place to start before testing my savvy (or lack thereof) with sheet metal!

I soo want one of those satchels too! They’ve actually had some cute satchel-type bags (though obviously not exactly the same) at Target recently. ;)
