Lovable Friday!

1. Pretty Sweets!
1. Pretty Sweets!

This lovable link comes straight from my husband, Augi. He frequents a Russian photo blog and thought of me when he saw this post. It’s a collection of beautifully decorated and presented sweets. Plenty of inspiration for your wedding’s candy buffet (are those still in vogue?) or next party.  Although not a big sweets fan (I favor ice cream much more), I can appreciate it’s beauty in photos and the joy it brings others. OK, so I’ve been known to stuff my face every now & then with the rest of them – I can’t lie! ;)

2. Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland
2. Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland

No one better exists in this world than Tim Burton to remake Alice in Wonderland. At least in my opinion! I am so excited to see what he does with the story and most importantly the visuals, but what makes me even more excited is the possibility of Tim Burton presenting a panel at Comic-Con 2009 about the movie! As of right now, it’s just a rumor, but I would jump out of my skin if I was in the same room as Mr. Burton along with Johnny Depp (::swooooon::). So here’s to hoping!

3. Affordable Louboutin's
3. Affordable Louboutin's

Nothing makes a woman’s legs look better than a pair of Christian Louboutin’s on her feet! Although I am more of your jeans & a pair of Chucks kind of girl, I do love to dress up every now & then…and I love to pair a pretty dress with some pretty high heels. I have always wanted a pair of Louboutin’s but they have always been out of my price range (by a long shot). But yesterday I stumbled on a link from JustJared.com for this fabulous website: Louboutin Box. Louboutin Box offers C.L.’s for way lower prices – lots of styles for only $150, which are still super steep for my budget but definitely more accessible for special occasions than the usual $600+ price tags! So indulge, ladies!

Edit: Thanks to my friend, Net, I have been informed that this site sells fake C.L.’s! So please be warned! I should have done my research before making this post – sorry for the false hope, girls! For more go here.

4. Jimmy Choo to team up with H&M
4. Jimmy Choo to team up with H&M

More fabulous shoe news! Just call me Carrie Bradshaw! As if H&M couldn’t get any better, they are now teaming up with Jimmy Choo to bring amazing shoes to the masses! Now all I need is for H&M to shape up and open a store down here in South Florida – don’t they know how many fashionistas reside here? It’s basically an outrage!

5. Bambako Headwear
5. Bambako Headwear

I really love headbands, hair clips and anything that adorns my pretty little head. It just makes outfits that much more fun – and if wearing bows in my hair makes me look like a little girl, than so be it. I hope I never grow out of polka dot bows & pigtails. And my little heart pines for these gorgeous feathered headbands from Bambako. The best part? The price. You can find something completely unique and beautiful for under $30. So dress up your head, it’ll thank you I promise. ;)
