Sometimes it’s really difficult to always have your nails look presentable. I don’t know about the rest of you, but it can take longer than anticipated and really test your patience at times. For that reason, I was interested in the whole nail decal revolution. However, Incoco are not your regular nail decals. They are nail stripes made of real nail polish, complete with base, color and top coat. The company boasts itself as providing the world’s only flexible nail polish, which can be contoured to fit any nail shape or size.

The lovely folks at Incoco were nice enough to send me two different styled nail decals for me to use and review while on our trip through Europe. I chose Mirage (pictured above) and Showstopper (pictured below). It was very sweet of them and I loved the idea of not having to paint my nails only for them to chip or get a scary shellac manicure before heading out. Application was a bit tricky at first (lots of pulling and tugging), but I quickly caught the hang of it and it was way smoother and less time consuming than having to physically paint them. Unfortunately, despite the site claiming that the polish would last 14 days, I saw evident wear and tear, which you can see in the above photo, after only a few days (it was snapped on day 4).
Although there was some chipping, on the whole, they remained more in tact than regular polish, with the photo below showing what my nails looked like on day 10. Basically, the main problem areas were due to my nails growing, not the nail polish falling off. I also loved their styling, fun designs and the site’s huge selection of manicures. I definitely recommend giving them a whirl, just not if you are going to be doing a lot of physical labor (we were hauling luggage, traveling and constantly on the move). I can see them working out great for a cruise, bachelorette weekend or holidays. Speaking of holidays, I am currently ga ga over their Christmas collection, especially Tis the Season (their glitter styles tend to last longer, not to mention stand out more, than the others).
