What I Wore: Crochet Short Shorts Remix!

This is my one last effort on giving shorts a shot, so you all better listen up and enjoy it! I’m sure it comes as no surprise to all of you that crochet shorts are all the rage. They can be seen everywhere, and I’ve personally seen quite a few of my favorite bloggers rocking a pair or two. Even though I struggle with a love/hate relationship with shorts, I had to give these a little love. They are a little vintage, and a little sassy (kind of like me), so what’s not to love? ;)

To make it a little more interesting, I decided to try my hand at my first remix! You may think these sexy shorts can’t be geeked out, but I’m here to change your mind! All you have to do is pair them with a romantic and breezy top, along with a cardi or vest of your liking and a pair of nerdy specs. Throw it all together, and you are certifiably geek chic and ready for a first date or a family get together.

For something completely different, partner up the shorts with a fun print and equally fun shoes, throw your hair up in a messy bun and add some vibrant accessories. This wild look would be perfect for a night out on the town with your girls or even a rock concert (just prepare for some serious foot pain all in the name of fashion).

    The shorts are way cute! And as someone who struggles with wearing shorts I think it’s awesome that you went out on a limb and looked great doing it.

    YES! More remixes! I heart doing them & looking at others doing them. I love wearing shorts. The thing for me with these shorts is…they look a little…short. I don’t know if it’s just me in my old age or what. I stopped myself from buying a pair of turquoise shorts from Target the other day b/c I felt they were inappropriate. Who am I?

      I definitely will do them more often in the future! They just take some more planning than usual, which is OK for the new format I’m thinking about. ;)

      & you are not old, I feel EXACTLY the same and actually put away a pair of Target shorts (same ones?) the other day for the exact reason!

      I’m trying because it’s just so much fun! However, I am noticing that it is making my shopping addiction more severe (not fun). I have to learn to balance the two and make old things new again!
