Lovable Friday!

1. DIY Bold Painting

I have a lot of empty wall space in our new home as we have only been living here for 6 months (can’t believe it’s been such a short amount of time), but we have been keeping our eyes peeled for some nice art pieces to fill that void. However, after seeing the beautiful painting Jen Ramos of MadeByGirl quickly cooked up on her own, I am thinking of investing in a canvas and paintbrushes. How gorgeous and powerful is this artwork? I adore the modern simplicity of it. And what’s better than saying “I did that” while giving home tours to friends and family?

2. Crow Watches

If it’s one thing I don’t have enough of, it’s watches. I currently have two, both were gifts and one needs a new battery. But oh, how I admire the beauty of a good watch and the fun of a playful one, such as those made by Crow. Crow makes the most colorful and kitschy little watches out there, while keeping them moderately priced (all are $54.50). They come in three different styles: Bosco, Lush and Toddy in a variety of different colors. My personal favorite is the one pictured above:  a Lush in turquoise. Hi Santa, I’m looking at you!

3. Sequin Hair Clips from Ban.do

Ban.do is easily shaping to be one of my favorite online stores. I just recently received their heart shoe clips, and am now lusting after their new Sequin Hair Clips! Honestly, what girl doesn’t love a little sequin action? Especially for the approaching New Year – imagine how great they would look paired with your NYE frock or added to a dull outfit for a punch of sass?

4. 1950's Pink Replica Pay Phone

I love most vintage items, but I have a special place in my heart for vintage telephones. And this 1950’s pink pay phone is almost too cute for words! Although I have absolutely nowhere to put something like this in my home, I still feel the urge to purchase it. You know, just in case. ;)

5. Rockin' Wedding Video

I absolutely adore my wedding video, I really do. It’s all sorts of magical and modern and fun, however with that said, I definitely think Brian and Eileen have the best wedding video of all time. The folks of Lockdown Projects were able to create a video for the couple where bride and groom, wedding party, and guests all sing along to one of the best songs in the entire universe, Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now. I dare you to watch this video and not smile. It’s virtually impossible.

Nice. I very much like that top painting and I think my girl would definitely love the watch. Thanks for the gift ideas, haha.

Brian & Eileen’s Wedding Music Video: that was awesome! The best part was watching it and thinking of my own friends/family and who would do what part – like my Dad!! lmao!
