I was so happy to be invited to CasaIdeas‘ blogger event last week where both myself and my lovely friend Marisol from Modishly Delish received a private tour of the store’s new fall collection. CasaIdeas originated in Chile, and Miami’s Sunset Place location marks the first in the United States due to its melting pot of Latin cultures. What I love the most about the company is that they are not afraid to play with color, something I can relate to myself. The new collection showcases beautiful fall colors and designs inspired by the forest, which can also be seen in their store decor.

The store is currently rearranging their layout, but at the moment, boasts a fabulous and extensive collection of bedding, bath, kitchen and general home decor items on the first floor and a feisty and fun children’s section on the second. I can honestly say, even without being a parent myself, that it is my favorite part of the store. I love their kitschy and unique stuffed animals and their brightly designed bedding items. I definitely know where I will be going when it’s time for the hubs and I to expand the family!

I was also drawn to their decorative plates, notebooks and weaved baskets. Definitely fun pop items that are unique and extremely affordable. I already jotted down a few must-have items on my mental shopping list, and plan on going back very soon. I actually think it’ll be the perfect place to start my Christmas shopping (one for you, one for me?).
