My Comcast decided to crap out on me last night so I am super behind with blogging…again! So bear with me – I should be back in business tomorrow.
Weekend Highlights
Saturday afternoon, we rounded all the pups together to celebrate Brad-Pitt and Gwen’s birthdays at our local dog park. The pups had an amazing time running around, rolling in mud and meeting new furry friends! I also was informed about a Miami Boston Terrier monthly meet-up, which sounds so fun! Thanks to all the guests and their humans for making it out – the pups loved having their buddies around as well as all the awesome gifts they received.
We say this all the time, but I really want to make it more of a habit to take the pups out to the dog park. They really appreciated the open space to run and play and were so well behaved the rest of the weekend! That Cesar Milan sure does know his stuff 
Girls just wanna have fun
Melificent will be out of commission until Thursday because some of my girls and I will be enjoying the sights, eats and drinks of South Beach and the tunes of one 30 Seconds to Mars (& Mute Math!). That’s right – I am finally taking a day off for me. Not school, not the house, just.for.me. And fun.
So hang tight, I’ll be back with a full review in no time!
Weekend Highlights
Saturday we attended Jackie and Will’s co-ed bridal shower at their Key Biscayne cabana. We were lucky enough to meet these two about a year ago now (?) and we couldn’t be happier for them both. They are a couple that truly knows what it is all about & those are a rarity nowadays. We had some piña coladas, bocaditos and then a flippin’ delicious paella. Best part was the laid back atmosphere. You could really tell that everyone was enjoying themselves and were full of love for the couple. It’s just contagious. We wish you guys all the best and cannot wait for your wedding in Key West later this year!
Lovable Friday: Lost Edition
In honor of the quickly approaching series finale of quite possibly the best show on TV ever, LOST, I decided to make today’s Lovable Friday LOST-centric. Attention South Florida Brides!
I know I don’t usually make posts like these, but having been extremely active on The Knot during my wedding planning and knowing how stressful the whole process can be on a girl, a couple and a family, I could not let this go by without sharing. At first I thought this was one of those fake forwards, until one of my oldest and dearest friends (who sent me the email) told me she knew the girl and that it was not a scam (unfortunately).
So to all brides-to-be in the South Florida area, please read the following and consider yourselves warned!

Happy Hump Day: Noah Mills
First off, I have to say that my hubs was the one that recommended today’s hump day hottie. Clearly amazing. I have taught him well. Heh. Anywho, back to the subject at hand! Noah Mills is basically the Zoolander of the real fashion industry. He is the face of countless campaigns including Michael Kors and Tom Ford. And now, he is going to be the new face of Sex and the City. Noah will be playing Samantha’s new boy toy and I am not complaining. In fact, I will basically only be seeing this sequel because of the awesome eye candy (Aiden is back! What!) as I could not stand the first movie – I think it did such an injustice to the series. Whew, I got off topic. OK, enjoy this glorious eye candy but don’t blame me for any imminent heart failure
Black Keys
I always said that if my hubs had a band, it would sound just like The Black Keys. Their blue-sy rock is something that the music industry has been missing lately – it’s just plain old fun rock and roll. And we were lucky enough to see them play The Fillmore Sunday night with some really great friends. Their show was absolutely amazing. They just brought it full throttle. Unfortunately, the crowd around us (seemingly only around us) was really young and really annoying. Made us have a few “I’m too old for this shit” moments, but we would quickly snap out of it (we’re cool, we’re hip!). Towards the end of the show, the poor hubs got a killer migraine causing us to have to jet out early, but overall the show was really awesome and I think what made it so great was how genuine vocalist/guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer/producer Patrick Carney were in their performance. Check ‘em out if they roll into your neck of the woods!
Up next on the concert front? Mute Math (one of my aboslute favorites) & 30 Seconds To Mars a week from today with some of my best girls! I can’t wait!
Weekend Highlights
Friday night we headed to Ian and Beau’s new apartment for their official housewarming. We had entirely too much fun with their dirty word magnets and were inundated with entirely too much beer. I tried my best to be on my best behavior though as the next morning was the autism walk in Broward.

Every time I think Louboutin has made his most outrageous pair of shoes yet, he comes out with another absolutely amazing pair that I lust over for months. And you’re looking right at them above! Unfortunately, these sparkly pretties go for $1,195. Mortgage anyone?
