Squeeworthy: Europe

With Ms. Melificent herself squeeing all over the streets of London at the moment, I thought we all might enjoy starting off our week taking a look at the lovely cities she and Augi are currently visiting! Above and below is the first city they visited: Barcelona, Spain. Hopefully you’re already following their travels on The Bombardment Society. I was very excited to see their Barcelona update. Just Fabulous

Hello fashionable, smart shopping ladies! Have I got a good find for you. Some of you may already know about JustFabulous, but for those who don’t, I wanted to take the time to introduce you to my #1 personalized shoe deal site. If you’re like me, you are a member of a large number of deal sites by now, but I cannot express enough how much I love this site, brought to us by the fabulous herself Kimora Lee Simmons, President and Creative Director for JustFabulous.

I have bought a few shoes from a couple of similar sites, however, I haven’t been impressed with the selections offered to me on a monthly basis. In my opinion, JustFabulous has exceeded my expectations in offering incredible shoes, jewelry and bags with great prices, quality and fast delivery.

JustFabulous is similar to ShoeDazzle, but they have impressed me in having style options that are more in line with what I feel, supplies better shoe results. Have I mentioned their rewards are pretty great? Not only will you receive points for your own purchases, but you receive them for your friends purchases (should they use your invitations to join the site) and they will continue to add more ways of earning points to redeem. The point redemption prizes are great, you can choose from a variety of point sets that include: shoe accessories, clothing accessories, haircare products, sunglasses, beauty kits and even credits for a free purchase!

I would also like to add that, the personalized boutiques don’t just stop with you, but you can shop your friends boutiques as well. Since the first day I joined JustFabulous, I have purchased 2 pairs of shoes, one handbag and a necklace. Sign-up is free and it does not require you to enter in any payment details for VIP Memberships. So without further ado, I invite you to join JustFabulous.

Happy Hump Day: Emile Hirsch

Hirsch

You may recognize this California-born piece of heaven from such movies as Lords of Dogtown (2005), Alpha Dog (2006), Into the Wild (2007) and Speed Racer (2008). But who can forget his breakout leading role as Matthew Kidman in The Girl Next Door (2004)? Emile Davenport Hirsch may be baby-faced and young to boot, but at age 26 he boasts 32 impressive acting roles, especially as Chris McCandless in Into the Wild and Cleve Jones in Milk. This young actor is a force to be reckoned with.

I first fell hard for Emile in the movie The Girl Next Door, as soon as he threw his arms around the beautiful Elisha Cuthbert and This Year’s Love by David Gray filled the background music in the scene.

With that, I leave you with my favorite collection of this sexy mofo!

Happy Halloween (& Bon Voyage)!!!!!!!!

via; weheartit

A very happy Halloween to all my amazing readers! I hope you have the most spooky, fun Monday ever!  While I moonlighted as Hello Kitty this past weekend, I will be getting my Katniss Everdeen on tonight while trick or treating with my nephew. What are you dressing up as?

ps; this will be the last post from little ‘ole me for the next 2+ weeks as we leave on a jet plane tomorrow headed to Europe! I’m leaving you all in good hands though. Three of the coolest chicks I know will be guest blogging in my absence and I am so excited to see what they share with you all. If you are interested in keeping up with our travels, you can follow our new blog, The Bombardment Society. But more on that later! Peace & hair grease!

Lovable Friday!

1. Cloud hangers

I wish I could tell you I know exactly where you can find and purchase these adorable cloud hangers, but unfortunately, this was one of those random Tumblr finds. However, after some Internet research, I found similar ones from one of my old favorites, Fred Flare. How cute would these look in a child’s closet or just to display some special frocks? Sigh!

Hair Emergency!

OK, so I don’t know what to think about my new hair color. I figured it would be a little shocking to me the first couple of days, but I still get kind of startled in the mirror every morning. I’m also leaking red dye every night in the shower and staining all my towels (is this normal? It has never happened to me for this long…). Plus, I’m scared to wear anything too colorful for fear that I may be one big clash monster. And not wearing color makes my world a pretty sad and angry place to live in.

So, I’m conflicted. Does it look good? Should I keep it? Am I overreacting?
Or, should I grab the closest bottle of Nice ‘N Easy and go to town attempting to dull it down?

I need your help! Please answer this poll as truthfully as possible. Every vote is anonymous, so no need to worry that you are offending me. Honestly, people have been pretty candid about the way they feel about my hair already, so I am used to the looks of complete horror. ;)

And yes, that is a most excellent DRIVE SHAFT tee I am rocking. I love you, Charlie Pace.

Squeeworthy: Travalo

The Travalo caught my eye after I heard of this fantastic product from a local South Florida blogger. It seemed like the perfect item for me to try out as I was stressing as to how I was going to transport my fragrance(s) on our trip to Europe. I thought this was such a genius idea! The itty bitty Travalo is a refillable perfume atomizer that is airline approved, which means smooth sailing through security checks. Just pick your favorite fragrance, in my case, Ms. Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B., and twist off the pump in order to attach the bottom of the Travelo to it.

Happy Hump Day: Adam Levine

I first discovered Maroon 5 when they were featured in a popular Floridian department store’s commercial about 9 years ago or so. I loved the song (can’t even remember the single they used now), and my friends were resourceful enough to find out that this wonderful band was coming in concert. So we bought their CD and our $5 tickets (yes, really) and saw them perform in the backstage area of an amphitheater. What I remember the most is their amazing cover of Nine Inch Nails’ Closer, and apparently what I remember the least is that a very young (& adorable) Jason Mraz opened for them. Aside from their vintage musical stylings (yeah, I’m not a fan of their more recent material), what I loved the most was Mr. Adam Levine’s good looks. Sure, he’s a d-bag and the whole nine, but have you seen him work that microphone? And have you seen him topless? It almost makes me forget that their new single sounds like the season’s new gay anthem (not that there’s anything wrong with that). ;)

CasaIdeas Blogger Event

I was so happy to be invited to CasaIdeas‘ blogger event last week where both myself and my lovely friend Marisol from Modishly Delish received a private tour of the store’s new fall collection. CasaIdeas originated in Chile, and Miami’s Sunset Place location marks the first in the United States due to its melting pot of Latin cultures. What I love the most about the company is that they are not afraid to play with color, something I can relate to myself. The new collection showcases beautiful fall colors and designs inspired by the forest, which can also be seen in their store decor.

What I Wore: Seeing Red

I haven’t done an outfit post in awhile and I also wanted to showcase my new hair color, so I decided to double up on this lovely Monday with two blog posts! I have been a blonde for over a year, so I figured it was high time I went back to my absolute favorite: red. However, I didn’t want my usual strawberry blonde – I wanted something different and darker. Granted, I wasn’t expecting something this bright and loud, but I think I am finally starting to warm up to it. I just have to get used to my new color palette. I hope all the pink I’m bringing to Europe won’t be a clash fest!
